We took Opa to Semmering (a mountain) with a
monastery on top.
The last time we were here it was with Oma.
We also went to the pool in Reichenau.
For dinner we went to the Loos Haus on the Kreuzberg.
This house was a late work of Adolf Loos,
finished in 1930 as a weekend
getaway for an industrialist.
Some of the original furniture is still there.
Adolf Loos was a pioneer in modern architecture.
He said: "ornament is crime" and favored
forms devoid of extraneous decor.
These sliding window shutters were designed for this project.
This used to be the library.
We ate on the terrasse with a great view.
Today we visited Gabi at her little lake house.
